Onto the General Election & Support from William King
This brother, William King—an influencer and game changer in North Omaha—ran a strong campaign for District 2 that focused on the real needs of our community. He offered bold, thoughtful solutions rooted in lived experience.
I’m excited and honored to have his endorsement and look forward to working alongside him to push for local change, economic development, and true community representation.
Thank you, William—let’s get to work!
The Morning Show on 95.7 The BOSS Coming Soon!
I was a guest on our own local radio station, 95.7 The BOSS – The Morning Show with William King – don’t miss it when it’s available!
I’ll be talking about the future of District 2, North Omaha leadership, and why this election moment matters more than ever.
Big shoutout to Vernon Muhammad for stepping in—looking forward to a real conversation rooted in truth, progress, and community empowerment.
Let’s go!

Johnny "The Jet" Rodgers Awards at the Baxter Arena

Watching the Jet Awards grow over the years has been powerful. Heisman Trophy winner and Nebraska football legend Johnny Rodgers has built is more than a celebration. It’s proof that with vision, heart, and a city like Omaha that believes in you, anything is possible.
Sports and life have always been connected. They both show us what unity, discipline, and purpose can create when we move together.
Omaha has a legacy of greatness. His daughter, Jewel Rodgers, is carrying that forward as Nebraska’s State Poet—the youngest and first African-American to hold the title. The legacy continues, both on the field and on the page.
If you’ve never read “24th and Glory”—a powerful book on North Omaha’s athletic and cultural history—now’s the time. Our roots run deep.
Proud of Omaha. Proud of what’s possible.
Black Men United hosted District 2 candidate debates
I had the honor of being featured in The Hungry Club, hosted by Big Mama’s Kitchen at 75 North and presented by Black Men United of Omaha. This live-streamed District 2 City Council candidate forum gave me the opportunity to speak directly with voters ahead of the General Election on May 13th.
I answered real questions about public safety, economic development, and housing, and I stood on my record of showing up and getting things done.
Thank you to everyone who came out, tuned in, and participated. And thank you to Big Mama’s for the hospitality, and the cranberry iced tea!
Let’s keep the conversation going
and let’s win this for District 2!
