🚪 Knocking on Doors and Building Bridges

Ā

The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of energy, connection, and progress! I had an incredible day of knocking on doors and talking with neighbors. There’s nothing quite like face-to-face conversations to truly understand what matters most. Listening to the community is at the heart of this campaign, and the stories, concerns, and hopes for the future was a powerful reminder of why I’m running—because this election has to be about proven leadership and real results.

šŸ  Fighting for Safer Housing

The fight for safer housing is continuous, where our voices are stronger together. I encouraged everyone to reach out to their officials and push for changes that will make a difference. When we pick up the phone, write an email, or show up to a town hall meeting, we’re sending a powerful message that cannot be ignored. Unified support is how we build momentum, and with that strength, we can create a safer, more secure community for everyone. Whether it’s advocating for updated housing codes, pushing for more affordable housing options, or ensuring landlords are held accountable, every call and every email matters. Let’s amplify our voices and make real change happen!

šŸŽ¤šŸ¤šŸæšŸ’¬ The North Omaha Forum & the Black Candidate Meet & Greet

In February, I had the honor of attending the North Omaha Forum, where Veta Jefferies delivered a powerful message: true progress takes every generation. She’s right!Ā

Young leaders bring fresh ideas and energy, while seasoned leaders offer wisdom and experience. We need bridges, not silos, and I need to hear what you think, how can we create more opportunities to work together and build a stronger community?

And just the other day I met up with even more of the community at theĀ  Black Candidate Meet & GreetĀ  at Johnny T’s. This election is about all of us, and I want to make sure District 2 moves forward together.

šŸ—³ļøšŸŽÆ Back on the Ballot: Keep the Momentum Going!

This is only the beginning, and I’m more motivated than ever to get back on track to better growth and greater success.

Let’s keep the momentum going strong! Stay tuned, stay involved, I’m grateful for your support, and together, we can make incredible things happen.

I am looking to bring hope and continue building a community where every voice is heard and every concern is addressed. If you have ideas, I want to hear them. If you have questions, let’s talk. Together, we can create real, lasting change for District 2, and thank you.
